Vivo has launched the much-anticipated smartphone from the company which is the Vivo V7+. The Vivo V7+ comes with a Full-Vision display which is the same as the displays seen on the recent flagship smartphones like the LG G6, LG V30, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 which was launched recently.

The Full View display on the Vivo V7+ has a 5.99-inch display with minimal bezels and the top of the screen only consists of a camera and the speaker grill. At the bottom, the Vivo V7+ does not include a physical home button which has been present on all the Vivo smartphones until now. The Vivo V7+ has a square-shaped fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone which is located below the camera of the smartphone.

Talking about the camera, the Vivo V7+ has a single rear camera unlike the other smartphones launched this year with a Dual camera setup on the rear. Looking at the specifications of the Vivo V7+, the smartphone comes with a 5.99-inch Full-Vision display and the resolution of the phone is 1440 x 720 pixels and the aspect ratio of the device comes down to 18:9. The company claims that the Vivo V7+ has a screen-to-body ratio of 84% which means that the front of the phone only has 16% of the body and the rest is the screen.

The selfie camera on the Vivo V7+ which is also the main selling point of the smartphone is a 24-megapixel sensor which is capable of capturing portrait modes as seen on the iPhone 7 Plus and OnePlus 5 where the background gets blurred. The front camera is accompanied with Selfie flash for better night time photos. The back of the phone has a conventional single camera setup which is a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and phase detection autofocus.

Also, as seen on the devices like the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S8+, the Vivo V7+ also comes with a face scanner so that the device can be unlocked by face recognition as well. The Vivo V7+ is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor which is clocked at 1.8Ghz and this processor is an Octa-core one. The company claims that the Vivo V7+ will have better battery life, performance as well as improved graphics with the inclusion of Snapdragon 450 chipset on the device.

The Vivo V7+ is powered by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. In terms of battery life, the Vivo V7+ has a 3225 mAh battery capacity. The smartphone runs on the latest version of Android, Android 7.1.2 Nougat on top of Vivo’s custom skin Funtouch OS. At launch, the smartphone will be available in Matte Black and Gold color options.

The Vivo V7+ is currently available for pre-order at a price of Rs. 21,990 from Flipkart and Amazon and the sale of the smartphone will start from September 15. Currently, Vivo is offering free BookMyShow couple tickets for those who have pre-ordered the phone and also a free screen replacement for users who have pre-ordered the Vivo V7+ from Flipkart and Amazon.

In terms of specifications, the Vivo V7+ falls short of the recently launched Xiaomi Mi A1 and the Moto G5S Plus, both of which come with Snapdragon 625 processor which is better than the Snapdragon 450 present on the Vivo V7+. The pricing of the phone is also on the higher side as the Mi A1 comes at a price of Rs. 14,999 and the Moto G5S Plus is available for Rs. 15,999 in India whereas the Vivo V7+ will cost Rs. 21,990. However, the Vivo V7+ offers a Full View display and better selfie camera than its competition.
